Panasonic

The Panasonic FC series seem to be favored among builders. You can recognize them by their royal blue color with golden band. They are also available in SMD form factor.

So for instance a 47µF capacitor rated at 25V would have the part number EEUFC1E470:

• Series: EEUFC
• Voltage rating: 1E (25V)
• Capacitance: 470 (47µF)

The part number could be followed by two extra identifiers:

• Lead forming:
  • Blank (straight)
  • E (lead forming)
• Taping:
  • B (5mm or 7.5mm pitch)
  • H (2.5mm pitch)
